This is a growing, variety of poems by a published fiction and non-fiction writer. After living a series of lives—entrepreneuring in Silicon Valley, fighting environmental battles at Lake Tahoe, teaching graduate school at Stanford, sailing and cruising, sheep raising in the San Juan Islands of the NW, caregiving, and writing during each experience, I have found poetry gives me a deep amount of satisfaction and, often, insights. I hope some of my work resonates with you.
In recent times I am finding there is an upper boundary on the number of "old friends" with whom I can maintain solid ties. I am uncertain whether it is the times, my age (>50 or 60 :), the complexity...whatever. Thanks for your comment.
